I've been vegan since 2015, nowadays I don't bother with the mock meats, and just go straight for the beans :D

But I can't deny that the occasional beyond burger tastes amazing :)

I don't care if these companies can replicate meat so well that you can't notice. I want honest food and the less processing the better.

The ground beef analogues don't use as much processing as the earlier products like the ones from Gardein. They are mainly pea protein, believe it or not. If you want minimal processing, then tofu, tempeh and seitan remain popular.

I will just have a side of peas then. No need to extract the protein and make a patty.
