Most of these offer only incidental protection against major earthquakes.

60 Minutes on 11/25/18 ran an interesting story on Fukushima and some of the robots being used to go inside the reactor buildings where it's too dangerous for humans.

I think https://www.cbsnews.com/news/robots-com ... 0-minutes/ has all of it. I'm guessing it'll eventually end up behind a paywall.

At what point - if at all, yet - did they overcome the problem of the radiation frying any camera CCD that went inside?
