Guy [I have lots of experience designing/selling off-grid AE systems, some using EVs but don't own one. Local trips are by foot, bike and/or rapid transit].

Even if it's not economically viable we should probably be recycling the cobalt.
Since it tends to come from the Congo where mining, slavery and child labor go together like bread, peanut butter and jelly.
