Although there are a few notable exceptions, in general VMT/capita varies inversely with population density, as was expected. D.C. is #1 in density, #51 in VMT/Cap.
Guy [I have lots of experience designing/selling off-grid AE systems, some using EVs but don't own one. Local trips are by foot, bike and/or rapid transit].

New mexico is number 4 for miles traveled per person.
I made an electric vehicle work.
The number of miles I put onmy leaf is pretty close to to the NM average.
