Only ONE stop in Texas?? And in Houston??! Bad choice in my view. I would of chosen Austin, and not just because I live there, but it's the most progressive and 'green' city in Texas. Could you add a stop here?

How far is Austin from Houston? And isn't Houston 3 or 4 times as big as Austin? Nissan's probably going at it from a purely numbers standpoint.

163 miles. Austin may be greener and more progressive, but Houston is larger (5.7M pop vs 1.7M), and more importantly (and perhaps surprisingly), has an agreement with Nissan to install charging infrastructure. I wish I could dig up some details on what they plan to do. Maybe I should call the mayor's office.
