Searching Forum using Google and not forum search

Sun Apr 28, 2013 3:02 am

Hi Everyone,

Try use this search for any website

(enter here your search word) site:mynissanleaf.com

Example

battery site:mynissanleaf.com

Forum search functions are next to useless.

Maybe some of you already know about this and some not.

Hi Mark,

If you click on the "Search" link towards the top of the forum pages, above the normal search query table you will see:
"Annoyed with the standard search on this forum? Use Google powered My Nissan Leaf search:"
If you type a query into that box, it does a site-specific Google search, similar to what you suggest.

Ah, excellent !

I never used the site search function because I never use forum search these days, but it's great to see that function added.

Thanks. :D
