I think it is working correctly, I don't see anything when using 'View new posts' or 'View active topics'.

Try clearing your cookies for this forum, maybe there is a problem with your session, or something else is out of sync, but clearing your cookies for this forum might resolve this, as forum software tends to depend on cookies for viewing new posts, etc.
