Annual Global Fossil Subsidy: $5.2 TRILLION

Thu Aug 01, 2019 6:57 am

From the International Monetary Fund (IMF):

So when bozos say ask how we will pay for the transition to clean energy, now you know the answer: take a *small* fraction of the fossil subsidy. All the rest can be given back to the taxpayers, and then a lot more as the fossil resource wars become a distant, nasty memory.

We only pitch in a mere 600 Billion or so, a pittance. We fund education at 1/10th the rate and quite honestly, it shows. :(
