With VW being the next strongest EV player below Tesla
Why VW? Not sure I'd put them there. Maybe put them at #3 or 4.

BTW, take a look at https://insideevs.com/news/396177/globa ... mber-2019/.

'19 Bolt Premier
'13 Leaf SV w/premium (owned)
'13 Leaf SV w/QC + LED & premium (lease over)

Please don't PM me with Leaf questions. Just post in the topic that seems most appropriate.

That came from the VW CEO. Until recently VW had the highest market value of all car makers.

If these make it to my part of the USA I really would like to test drive one. Hope the price is like a Leaf and the features are like a Tesla Model 3. https://auto.hindustantimes.com/auto/ca ... 68.html

Totally laughable, a low-end vehicle brand attempting to sell a high-end vehicle, e.g the Infiniti - a very marginal seller at best.
and to take on the likes of Tesla Model 3, features ProPilot 2.0 which would make it reasonably capable of driving itself.

I agree with your thought but the sad part is if Nissan does not have good sales with this EV they may just fade away with the ICE vehicles in the next several years or they may wind up and re badge a China made EV. I am starting to think Nissan has no Elon Musk in house these days.

Possible a bad thing if the Nissan board objective is keep downsizing again and again.

Both.
Elon correctly targeted the market of upscale buyers, where electric cars have a large advantage now. Every other car company targeted lower end or midscale buyers. Ability to see the winning design, priceless.
Elon is a stable genus. He is very good at ... what stable geniuses do. Go to a stable, you will understand.

So thoughts on wether the leaf will make an exit over the next few years?
2020 Model 3 Tesla. AWD with FSD. Deep metallic blue. Our daily driver.
2016 Nissan Leaf SV 30KWh Culis Red. Sold. Was my daily driver. Loved that car.
EV only Family...well except for the big diesel motorhome.

I read where the Leaf plant in the UK was going back on line. One thought is that the Chinese EV's are to blow all the Leafs off of the trees so to speak. I expect like with COVID-19 no one has any settled facts over the future of Nissan.
