There seems to be quite low interest on a separate motorsports section simply judging from the deafening silence in response to your query. I'd just post in "General / Main Owners Forum".

For what it's worth, I'd still like to see one. :)

Maybe becoming a "Forum Supporter" may help your case ;)

And on the subject of the being a really fast pig has anyone exceded 94mph top speed on the flat?
I got there in a reasonable time (in fact faster than the Crossfire) but that was it 94mph.... then he passed me

The top speed is a hard limit programmed into the system. There's no way (without outside help) to surpass it.

Since the LEAF Nismo RC, using the same power train as our cars, has essentially the same reported top speed, I would presume there's no way to do it.

The motor's max rpm is 10,930 rpm. The transmission is single-speed so the motor-to-road gear ratio is fixed. Ergo, the max road speed is limited by the motor's max rpm, which has been observed to be in the low- to mid-90s mph.

You could put on significantly larger diameter tires, or have custom made gears built for the for the 8:1 gear reduction box.

Or drive down a hill.

I have been trying to find were BASF have the Thermoset plastic wheels made, they sent me to Daimler Smart but Daimler say BASF produce these rims but BASF say they do not make the rims (I even spoke to Dr Hess one of the project leads at BASF).

These are produced in limited quantity for racing and I would love to find who manufactures them
