Who's paying for this wonderful site?

Wed Jul 21, 2010 2:01 pm

Monday night, for the first time ever in my experience, this website was not responding. That got me thinking - somebody's got to be paying for this service, and it's not me. And there are no ads here, as on most "free" sites. So who is our benefactor, and what can we do to thank him or her?
End of April 2013: Traded my 2011 SL for a 2013 S with charge pkg.

I was under the impression that wxxyz is either someone from gmvolt.com or someone from priuschat.com, looking to expand their empire. Of course, I too have said (jokingly) that this could well be a Nissan PR play.

A recent nissan email Was inviting us to join a panelist forum.
Up until that time i had but nissan was running this site.
but now i am not so sure.
i think we actually meet this person to respond by giving it some details as to who he is.
Whether it does or not i do still thank you for providing the site

In the early days (what - a few months ago!) there were several Leaf chat sites that sprung up. For some reason, this one seems to have become the defacto leader. In the first month or two - I'm not sure there was any real difference in the posts on the various sites so I don't know why this site won. Maybe the pleasant appearance or the excellent response time?

Whatever the case - my thanks also for hosting the site.

I exchanged a bit of "PM" with "wxxyz" over a month ago,
and he (I think "he") seems to be a very busy person.

This site works quickly, probably because it is "clean", with no hidden tracking, and has no advertising to download.

This is the fastest-responding forum I have visited.
Hopefully, it will remain that way.

It also has hard-working moderator(s).

THANKS to all!
