Well, the one undeniable thing is that the mobile experience on here is far from optimal. It's a plain installation of phpBB, a platform that is unchanged from over a decade ago, long before smartphones with proper browsers:
Modern mobile websites have large buttons that don't need to be zoomed-in to press or zoomed-in to read the actual content. The phone "experience" (user-interface paradigm, rather) is fundamentally different from the desktop/laptop "experience". It needs a separate interface in order to actually be something most people would want to use on a regular basis.
I mean, unless you're very-much used to adapting desktop sites to the phone - the iPhone browser does it relatively well, but other browsers on other phones that don't have an octo-core 8GHz CPU in them have rather a bit of trouble with the zooming and positioning thing
Hell, this forum isn't even using the LATEST VERSION of the pre-packaged software that it runs on! This version (below) has been around for a few years - YEARS - now, and it still hasn't been upgraded to it!
