I'm seriously considering this clean 2011 SL Leaf. I ran the Leaf Spy Pro app today, and these are the numbers right after removing it from the charger and driving it across the parking lot:

Bat Sts: AHr=54.38 SOH=82% 393.0 V Hx=78.57%
0 QCs 1509 L1/L2s
12.56 V
SOC=91.4%
17.2 kWh 49.71 Ah
222 GIDs (79.0%)

I'm ready to buy it.

Any concerns, advice, warnings, or other sage advice?

Thanks!

Can you describe your intended usage of this Leaf? How far is your commute? Do you have charging available, etc? The battery is already 18% degraded. Can you deal with that?

Curious what you plan to pay for it.

80-90% will be daily commute of 36 miles round-trip.

Charging is free at work.

I think I can comfortably live with the battery degradation until I get down to about 45-50 mile range.

What do you think it's worth? (Note that it's being sold by a dealership as "certified" and includes a substantial additional warranty; it's also exceptionally clean.)

I've watched California Leaf prices for the past few months on eBay, and $13,400 sounds like it's in the ballpark. Also, as crazy as these numbers may be, KBB calls this $16,000, and NADA indicates $14,500. $13,000-ish sounds about right to me.

What basis do you have for thinking this is too high? (Whatever it is, I'll take it to the dealer!) :-)

Thanks,
Martin

13.4 k is a decent price for a clean 21k 2011 if it has a DC port.

If it doesn't have it, I'd suggest you look elsewhere.

As long as you can charge at work is OK.
Capacity is similar to my 2011.
In cold weather range can be as low as 35 to 40 miles.
Depends on how much heat you like. I like to stay warm and not drive cold or bundled up.

But is warmer in Chico.
