And make no mistake: this is a big rate hike. It will cost us almost 50% more to charge.

I can't really complain, since rates have been steady for a while, but I don't care for the misdirection-speak in the letter: "We wanted to let you know about a change in your electric vehicle rate plan which offers more hours of low-cost off-peak charging."
