Short answer - yes, I'm still happy with it.

I THOUGHT I was having some weird issues where the car wasn't always charging, but I haven't been able to repro so it was probably user error :-)

I don't have anything to compare it to -- this is the only EVSE I've touched. So my recommendation will not carry as much weight as someone else who has had experience with more than just this unit.

I appreciate the feedback JasonT. I'm not looking for a charger with a lot of bells and whistles...simply a reliable unit that will charge my car. Admittedly, I was nervous about this product after reading your post regarding your car not charging, but am glad to hear that isn't something that has continued.

I thought about waiting for the new ClipperCreek LCS-25 unit, but like the idea of having a charger that'll be able to output at a higher kW/h rate, such as this Scheider unit, if I ever decide to get another EV or the LEAF Gen 1 is able to have its charger upgraded.

Thanks again...now off to spend a bunch more money...

These units are not chargers they are EVSEs, they do not have an output they have contacts and cables rated to handle a specific kw capacity that is drawn from the CHARGER in your car.

Apologies for butchering the terminology, I'll get it all down one of the days.

At least I didn't say I want a charger with one of those e-hoses that'll deliver e-fuel to my LEAF ;)

Thanks for posting this! I just called Paul and should have my EVSE on the way soon. He also quoted me $750 "plus tax". I pointed out he did not need to collect CA tax for my unit shipped to Texas; he agreed. I didn't get a shipping quote but expect it to be around $30. This, 5/26; will report details when I receive the unit. SHOULD ship in just a day or two.

My Schneider EVSE is preforming fine. Its real simple to use. No extra bells and whistles. just plug it in and the car does the rest.
