UK charging. Is it bad to always use the EVSE?

As per subject really.
I've been charging my Leaf (30kWh) on arrival at work. On leaving work it's at 100% and the round trip to home and back to the office is 60 miles. We don't have any other means of charging other than the EVSE plugged in to a standard UK 3 pin socket.
I think Nissan calls this mode trickle charging, or do I misunderstand. Their user manual says this is not recommended for regular use. Why not?

The EVSE is fine - All level one and level two charging cables are EVSEs. Nissan is worried about people complaining about taking too long for charge, or using unsafe wiring or extension cords - that's all. Your charging cable, safely plugged into a safe outlet, with safe wiring, is fine.

I mostly use a 240v 12 amp evse for at home charging.
Over there you have 220v and the normal early evse is what like 10 or 11 amps?
You should be all set.

Over here a lot of people use 120v and it takes forever.

Thanks guys. I didn't think there should be anything wrong with it.
My smart meter indicates that it charges at about 2.4kW. So 10-11 Amps is about right.
