If you're talking about 2-3 bounces near the end when charging to full on L1 or L2, it's normal. I mentioned it at https://mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?p=594491#p594491 and pointed to https://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?p=490435#p490435.

Thanks for sharing your interesting current plot.

The spikes are due to the inrush current to charge the big capacitor in the PFC circuit, after which you can see the current approaching the minimum charging level.

The off periods allow the 10mA balancer circuits to bleed off the higher cells and also let the controller take open circuit (no-load) readings of the cell voltages to determine the state of charge.

If you press and hold the trigger for 30-60 seconds without withdrawing the handle during a charging session, you would see the current drop from 30A to the nominal baseline, then go back up again when you release the trigger.

It would be interesting to see the base level and the ramp rate as it comes back up, although the time base may be too coarse unless you can zoom in to see details.
