The env200 was put up on the nissanUsa site this year (go look), and the rumor is Amazon is paying to import a test fleet of 50-100 of them for delivery routes.

Wager it will show up when it offers the 62Kw battery. We have been waiting for a 7 seat EV option(no X) and this is the only one in the hopper that I am aware of.

Bought a used LEAF yesterday, a Coulis Red 2016 SL w/premium pkg. It has 9600 miles on it! Apparently spent it's first two years with the dealer, then privately owned one year. Paid 14,499, private party. That doesn't include the cost of driving from Cedar Falls Iowa to St. Paul MN to buy it and then trailering it back with help from UHaul. My husband says I'm going to have to drive the LEAF for 3 months before I make up for the gas we used hauling it with our 2004 F150 4x4 V8. LOL

I used Leaf Spy, shows SOH of 92% (sort of expected better) and AHr 72% but I'm happy with what I got.

My work commute is 2 miles 3-4 times/wk, so this time of year it is usually by bicycle. (and it's an electric bicycle, just to be consistent). LOL

If the car has NOT had the BMS software update, then 92% is a very good SOH for a 3 year old Leaf. If it did have the update recently, that figure may drop a bit. In any case, enjoy your Leaf.

Congrats! I think the Leaf will be perfect for your short commute and any other errands around town. I'm sure you will enjoy it.

I've found that the miles I put on my bike around town have fallen drastically since I bought the Leaf. It is so nice to drive and so easy that I take it for a lot of the <10 mile trips that I used to do by bike. Either it's too hot (no E-bike for me yet....) or wet or I'm just lazy or in a hurry.

What is your charging setup? If you're going to use the 120V portable cable that came with the car I'd recommend using a dedicated outlet and leaving it plugged in continuously. Receptacles will wear out if repeatedly plugged in/out and you want a solid connection for the EVSE.

@goldbrick - we have a 240v (50A) outlet in the garage due to the fact that our son has a Tesla and drives 120 miles from Des Moines to Cedar Falls to visit. I bought a Juice Box Pro 40 to leave plugged in the vast majority of the time.

I'm sending back my GoPlug because I don't find it to be very user friendly.

I will check on the BMS update. Thanks

Sue

Happy Anniversary to me. Bought my first EV/Leaf a year ago today. 8 months later, traded it in for my second Leaf

At the end of June we traded in our 2015 Leaf SV for a 2019 Leaf SV Plus. We have a 3-year lease on our new Leaf.
