I bought the same car with both packages, big fan so far!voltamps wrote: ↑Fri Dec 25, 2020 10:36 am2020 Leaf SV, 149 mile range version.
Cheap with all the Nissan rebates & Federal & State tax credits. Blue. Love it so far. Traded in a '16 Ford Focus Electric which is a great-handling car but low range and probably about to get repair costs in the years ahead.
Hoping Nissan doesn't go under so the long warranty stays intact.
In 5-10 years, you will be glad you got the extra range... assuming that doesn't happen this Summerdudemize wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 8:06 amHowdy all.
I've been stalking the forums for a while but I finally have a Leaf. Just leased a 2020 SV+ w/Tech and All weather packages. I also have a 2015 Chevy Volt.
I was planning to get the standard SV w/Tech and All Weather but their weren't any available in my local area. I reached out to some dealers that were further away and received some decent quotes, but in the end, I was able to work out a pretty good deal at a local dealership on the +.
Cool car!

Yup. I toyed with the idea of doing some 401k-Roth conversion to increase my tax liability to make the EV credit work, but I'm hoping the Ariya in 2 years, or similar sized EV is our next 10+ year-owned car. So I leased the leaf for 2 years. Hope my wife's 10 year old car lasts that long, or she might just fall in love with the Leaf like I have, and will sell it sooner so that we are back to the 2 cars we need. Have 2015 Pathfinder for long trips and family outings and hoping commuting 8 miles each way with the leaf instead of the pathfinder will slow the latter's aging process, which has accelerated lately (only 62k miles but feels older to be honest).LeftieBiker wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 5:54 pmLeasing is the best way to buy an EV if you don't qualify for the Federal tax credit.
