I believe the original phrase was "put your trust in God, but keep your powder dry".
Such typical hypocrisy.

Still nothing useful. Here was a reply at https://www.facebook.com/groups/FenixPo ... 6195519154 made on Tues, Sept 29th before 1 pm Pacific:
Well again, it is not helping us to make comments like above. An announcement on the first 10 battery replacements will be coming this week and batteries are on the way to installer locations across the country. It has taken a while to make this happen, but we are close. The company has been personally calling many who have been vocal on this issue, but clearly it is not enough. So I ask only to watch for two things to happen. 1. We are shipping batteries to installers and 2. Leaf's will be installed with CPO batteries within the next two weeks. This begins the cycle of shipping and installing you all have been waiting for and by the end of the year an announcement on the delivery of the Fenix Power Modular Battery Architecture for EV's will also be delivered. We have been working on CPO logistics for multiple national installer locations and planning for the Fenix Power New Technology during the last 30 days. This is happening and I would now ask of you, as we said when I was in the military, "keep your powder dry". Thank you. Bill Bysinger SVP
So, now do we give them until Oct 13th for a battery to arrive at an installer and installation to begin?

We've already missed the "We hope to have installations begin in the next 10 working days" that was posted about on Sept 13th (viewtopic.php?p=590115#p590115).
A guy at https://www.facebook.com/groups/FenixPo ... 9638101143 says
"The rescheduled call went at planned. The CPO pack has been verified, and will be shipped to PA next week. Install to happen the week of Oct 19"

Let's see...

Wonder if "a guy" is a member of this forum? If it really happens, we could get some interesting information.

It's been over Two weeks since this Fenix Power subscriber, detailed his call on the Facebook Fenix Power Customer Forum with CEO John Bysinger, that the 'Initial Push' of CPO battery installations would occur by October 22nd. It's already October 26th and only Silence from Fenix Power on any CPO batteries installations.

Yeah, didn't happen. When (if) it does, Fenix will likely post about it for the next 6 weeks (when install #2 happens...IF it happens)

Fenix posted some big updates on facebook yesterday that they will set up appointments soon! lol How long can they drag this out? They are deep in debt and have zero plans and are scrambling to try and find investors. They are quite literally at stage 0.

Still seems like there have been 0 used battery installs.

I'm even more certain now that they will never ship their modular thermally managed battery to a legitimate paying customer. If they ever make it to a saleable item, their window of opportunity will have closed as it will totally not be worth it to even bother w/the age and low value of gen 1 Leafs by that point vs. plenty of longer range used EVs on the market (and reasonable likelihood of EVs with cheap leases still existing). The addressable market will be so tiny that they will not be able to recoup their investment while charging a reasonable price.

They've missed so many dates (e.g. viewtopic.php?p=589831#p589831 and viewtopic.php?p=590115#p590115) over and over to accomplish something that doesn't require much technical expertise vs. what they've proposed. Sure seems like folks like Dala, Muxsan, the shop in Quebec and another Leaf place in New Zealand have far more demonstrated technical prowess than what we've seen from Fenix: 0.

If they're having this much trouble securing financing for this used battery installation effort and refunding people promptly, the odds of them having funding for their modular battery R&D, tooling, testing, etc. seem almost nil.
