I would like to be able to track the charge rate and charge amount over time. I have a 2013 Leaf and I am just using the included level 1 charging cable for now. Is it possible to track/see this kind of data with LeafSpy or some other tool? Has anyone done it with a smart plug of some kind?

Thanks for any ideas.

If by "over time", you mean the time of one charging session, LeafSpy draws a graph of charging power as a function of time if it's connected while you're charging.

If you want cumulative energy over several charging sessions, I think all you can do is note the battery state at the beginning and end of each charging session and add them up. If you also want to include the lost electricity that came out of the socket but didn't make it into the battery, I have no suggestions.
