No I think it’s more a matter of not wanting to encourage someone who may not be aware of the consequences and responsibilities involved in “messing with the orange wires”. No offense to OP intended.

My feeling is similar: I think the OP should only be looking at 12 volt issues himself.

The only time I was hit with high voltage DC I was totally sedated and they shocked me, cardioversion..
