Anyone use the new beta version of ABRP with Android support for a trip yet?

No. I have the ABRP app, but do I need to uninstall and reinstall to get it to show up in android auto, or is it a different version of the app?

What is it suppose to do? I have a 600 mile trip this weekend, that might be a good way to test it?

That I may look into. May be a much cheaper alternative to Power Cruise Control. Power cruise control is like ABRP and gives you real time feedback if you can reach your next charge waypoint based on a dongle, it also calls google maps for driving directions to waypoints. I do have power cruise control but if ABR can do that real time feedback it may be a better offering to new people especially as it will be cheaper.

Can someone recommend a compatible dongle that won't break the bank? Their approved one has a link to the Italian Amazon site. WTF?

There are many that work, do you have one already for LEAF Spy? One dongle tends to work for all of them.
No, I do not. But, I went to their site to see what are the requirements of the dongle. I found that Leaf Spy requires a "ELM327 OBDII Bluetooth adapter". Based on that information I researched compatible devices and settled on this one;

Thanks for the tip. I'm thinking about getting the ABRP app.

Has anyone gotten their obdii to work with the ABRP beta?

Is anyone in the forum using premium? I am considering it, but wanted to see what other Leaf drivers think about its value.

Doug
