Here's my solution to keeping my mp3 library at hand. It's cheap, inconspicuous, and always in the car! As you can see, it's so small it's easy to keep it plugged in all the time. It's barely noticeable, so would not attract thieves like an iPod would. This is even smaller than typical thumb-drives, and at 8 GB, there's plenty of room for all my music. If that's not enough, I'm sure the more technically-inclined could even hide it underneath that tray, making it completely invisible.
If you'd like to try this, here's what you'll need:
Insert memory card into reader, then plug in to computer and copy over all your mp3 files. Then, unplug from computer, plug in to car, and forget about it!
Note, if the exact items above are not available, just be sure that the memory card is microSDHC and that the reader is microSDHC capable. MicroSD is not the same thing!
