I just wrapped up the initial design of my 3d-printable & modular grille blocker

Testers wanted :)
Specifically AZ0 2011-2012 Leafs, are they any different compared to 2013-2017 AZE0-0 and AZE0-1?

Printed in black PETG (PLA / ABS also works, if you use PLA remember to clear-coat it so it holds)

It prints in 4 sections, so you need a printer that can handle 18cm / 7inches minimum. Here's a picture of it mounted on my car, had to crank up the brightness so you can actually see something :D

Stop talking and take my money.
How much is it?

It's free! Just hand the links to someone you know that has a printer, or visit your local library! :D Material cost should be below 3$

I haven't visited a library in some years. 3d printers are standard features now?

Yep. Ours has had them for years.

Before we traded in for a 19, I would use painters tape every winter to block the grill. The cabin was warmer and efficiency higher.

Any chance you can make one for the small grill at the bottom of a 2019 Leaf?

I would love to, but I don't have access to a ZE1, so that will have to wait.

will be printing these and some wheel inserts out when some PETG arrives, got my ender 3 yesterday :)

Good luck!

I did some upgrades to my Ender3, one of them being a new buildplate. With this, the parts end up looking way more professional. With the powercoated buildplate they get a very nice texture that hides the lines often visible on flat pieces that lay against the bed.
