Hi all,

new EV owner here. Bought a 2018 Leaf. Love it. My problem is the Chademo fast charge wont work. Starts up etc then about 20 seconds later just stops. Tried various different units. Any ideas. cheers guys
 
Do you have any malfunction indicator lights showing on the instrument panel?

Hopefully there are some diagnostic trouble codes stored in memory that would help narrow down the cause. Either the dealer using the Consult tool, or diy using an OBDII scantool could retrieve the DTCs.
 
Hi,
no warning lights, no codes. only thing that showed up on the charging unit was DTS 200002 what ever that means
 
Is this a new problem--has it ever worked in the past?

Are these "free" charging stations or require an account/payment? What is the make and model of the chademo unit(s).

Inspect your DCQC port and blow out any debris from the sockets, clean with alcohol on a cotton swab if necessary.
