We definitely have lot more Jan deliveries in this forum than Feb - 50 vs 10.

Feb will be the "trough" in Leaf deliveries. Fits perfectly with the manufacture dates being shifted to the Japanese domestic market I thinks. March/April will be huge for LEAF deliveries according to dealers.navidad wrote:I am surprized by the low level of Leaf in february...
If the 95% is correct - we have 250 Leafs in US and Japan has 4,750 cars. If we take 173 as the US figure, that gives about 3,200 in Japan. That would be 3,700 or 2,200 Leafs delivered in Japan in Feb.While there are over 20,000 reservations in the U.S. for the Leaf, only 10 cars were delivered in December. In Jaunary 173 Leaf orders were fulfilled, but in February only 67 cars were delivered.
The delays have been caused in part by the success of the Leaf in its native Japan, where generous government subsidies and nationwide charging infrastructure has driven an estimated 95% of Oppama’s Leaf output to domestic customers.
I'll buy that.muus wrote:To me this really should be at the top of "News & Main Leaf Discussion" as it is the kind of information we need to show all the EV doubters. Within a few months, Nissan will have sold more EVs than all other manufacturers combined!
I saw the link in some other thread - and used the Leaf number quoted to figure out where I should look ! Normally I translate using IE - by highlighting the text & rt-clicking ...rnkepler wrote:What do you use to translate that page? Google doesn't work on that page but babel fish does enough to parse out the Leaf numbers.
