News Regarding Upcoming Blink Firmware Update

I have been in contact with Blink networks and they are currently testing new Firmware, which promises to be a real fix to problems rather than a series of band-aids as past firmware patches have been. No word on when it will be available, but at least it's in the works. Judging by the comments from Blink below it maybe a 2.0 release? Time will tell

We haven’t been given the green light to provide specifics about the release date of the next firmware update. I can tell you that the computer lab has begun to run through testing of the firmware. This latest update, when it passes testing and we have a firm release date, will also be a comprehensive revision of the firmware, rather than the piecemeal fixes that have been released thus far.

We’re very excited and anxious to see it, ourselves.
