If you have an older "junked" or no-longer-used Android smartphone
with Bluetooth (OS v2.2 or later) , that might be suitable for LEAF
Owners who would like to try using the LEAF Battery App,
please let us (or me) know.

If you want to sell something, please use the For Sale threads.
This is just for sharing with others, to better recycle your unused
devices, usually an older smartphone, or tablet (with BlueTooth).

If you have a need for such a device, you may post of your
desire for running the app, giving at least your city and state.

If you think that your Android device has bluetooth, and are
reasonably sure that it will work with the LEAF Battery App,
then you could post some details and your location here,
and a nearby owner could PM you.

If you are not sure, or don't want the hassle of dealing with
humanoids, you could get it to another LEAFer in your area
(to pass on to someone who wants to run Turbo3's app),
or send your to-be-shared device to me (PM for my address).

Think of it as an opportunity to help other eager LEAFers.
Cheers, Gary

Gary,

I'm using an older phone with Android 2.2 and it works fine. QueenBee had a device with 2.1 and it did not work, so it looks like 2.2 is the oldest version that works.

I've switched to Windows Phone for the time being, and being an Android app, I could use a spot in that "needs" list. It'd be helpful for sure if anyone has an unused one. I can't buy one, as (you may tell from my sig) I'm kind of strained on the finances right now... so I'm just hoping someone has one laying around unused, that they'd like to give some life back with a fellow LEAF driver

Well, I just came across this decent deal: https://www.groupon.com/deals/gg-samsung-galaxy-tab-2-18" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - $150 for a Galaxy Tab 2. That's a steal. Finally, I can get a high-rated, well-supported tablet for a decent price. So I picked that up, and set it up with the app (and the few other Android things I've been missing since going Windows Phone). :)

So I'm all set for now
