Houston man goes off the grid

If you've tinkered with electronics and have lived in Houston for any length of time, you've probably shopped at Electronic Parts Outlet on Fondren near Westpark. Several years ago, the store owners started to build their off-grid homestead/country store near Columbus TX, powered by lots of solar panels. Now KPRC caught wind of it, and have this video, write-up, and slide show of all they've accomplished so far. Pretty cool way to retire!
