I thought I would start a new thread for anyone from Illinois but not in Chicagoland - anyone else around here? I Live in Champaign and bought a demo 2011 LEAF from Extreme Nissan in Bloomington, IL in April. I haven't seen any LEAFs around town but from the dealers I've talked with they have sold a few.
For anyone else from Illinois that is interested, I just received my Illinois electric vehicle plates (the dealership had never heard of them before). Just like some others on the Chicagoland board, the plates are three digits followed by EL.
