I am curious, how will this price increase affect your purchasing decisions folks?

Not sure :? It all depends upon how much longer they make me wait, what the financing vs lease options look like, what the fed and state (if any) tax benefits look like, etc. I still believe that ~$30,000 (after potential rebate) is still a great price for a state-of-the-art electric car.

I wonder how the competition between 350Green and ChargePoint will shake out? Right now ChargePoint has a commanding lead here on the east coast.

Also I wonder when Nissan will allow those of us in PA with existing reservations to order. Based on what happened in Tier 3, I'm guessing the chance will come without warning.

Well, I'm checking my dashboard daily now to see if Nissan activates it without warning...

Interesting! Maybe Exciting! For all those Southeastern PA'ers! For the heck of it I logged into my account on the Nissan Leaf site and, wouldn't ya' know it, I had the ability to schedule my home assessment. Not sure when this was enabled but I never received an email or anything. Anyhoo I scheduled my assessment for just 3 short weeks away! Could the dream of electric car ownership soon be reality for us in PA!?!?

I was the first LEAF for them. I went over to their showroom and the LEAF specialist and I worked through the order together. In about 15 minutes, the order was officially in Nissan's order queue. They were great. Peruzzi Nissan is what I think a car dealer should be. They find out what their customers want and help them to get it. I'm lucky to have such a nice place right around the corner from my office.
