I got a call from DEP the other day checking to make sure we got our rebate. I asked how many were left and she said about 220. So there are plenty of rebates left.
Nissan has finally updated their website to show the $3500 rebate.

I know back in April when I was waiting for my car to come in I was worried that all the rebates would be gone by the time the car came in.
I got a call from DEP the other day checking to make sure we got our rebate. I asked how many were left and she said about 220. So there are plenty of rebates left.

Get this! I was the FIRST in central PA to receive a Leaf (Jan) and there was no mention of a PA rebate. I stopped in at the dealer today and they told me about it. Thanks...The rebate program states it must be submitted within 6 months of purchase.

The PA DEP has posted on their web site that as of 10/3/12 there were 184 rebates left.

I got my car in April of this year. The "Leaf specialist" who sold me the car knew nothing of the PA rebate. Does Nissan not think that $3500 in free money is a useful enough selling tool to even mention it to their salesmen? If I owned the dealership there would be a 10' high banner draped across the parking lot with searchlights on it, and my customers would be given the application all filled out and ready to sign. The "Leaf specialist" at Brenner Nissan of Mechanicsburg had copies of the forms and was pretty on top of their game. Only reason why I didn't need a copy was because of all the research I completed prior to buying.
Also there are still 105 rebates remaining as of Nov. 19, 2012. Was a pretty simple process to receive the check. Can't believe there are still rebates available this late in the year.
