Colorado Uber Leaf

I tried to Uber/Lyft with my Leaf, but the place that does the inspections wouldn't certify it because they said "we can't touch it because it's electric", and "if we take the wheels off to check the brakes it will stop working." They directed me to the dealer, but I imagine the dealer is going to want lots of $$ for this since they never get any other money from me.

Not sure if anyone else in the area has tried this and gotten different results. I have kind of lost interest anyway as I was just in it for the fun of driving people around in my 'lectric car.

I thought about it too but quickly lost interest after I looked at the requirements. I have received quotes for around $120(on a different vehicle) to do a used vehicle inspection which I would think would give them the info they need.
