Thanks Paul, very nice.

I especially like the part about slowing down, re-discovering the old roads, stopping and experiencing places you would normally pass by. It's one of the aspects I like best about road tripping in the LEAF.

Yes, it's important for us to say that with today's technology it's a different form of travel than with a gasser. It's not bad, it's different. With enough time and with the right attitude it's a positive experience. If you try to force today's EV with today's infrastructure into a form of travel like that with a conventional auto you will be disappointed.

I've read quite a few accounts where trippers tried to do to much on a charge or in a day and their accounts are full of the stress of "will we make it" and so on.

So with today's EVs with today's infrastructure, their not for everyone. But SUVs are not for everyone. A F250 is not for everyone either. This is not original--I think I got this from somewhere on this forum--but it rings true.

My wife is keen on this way of travel. So this works for us.
