Nissan leaf as Taxi

Tue Aug 14, 2018 12:18 pm

Hi all I'm new to the forum..

My question is I've purchased a 2018 Nissan Leaf to use as a Taxi..
I will need to run a two way radio and a dash cam and would like them wired permanently like I have in my current taxi which is a Mondeo..

Can I run power directly from the 12v battery as this is what I'm currently doing? Will this have any adverse effect on my leaf..

Thanks in advance for any advice..

There should not be any problems pulling power from the 12v battery. The two-way radio and the dash cam uses very little power from the battery.

Remember to use Ready (driving) Mode rather than turning the car off and using Accessory Mode. The latter will kill the 12 volt battery even with no additional accessories.
