I am very happy to share and exchange experiences with everybody.

I'm a Chinese. In China mainland have special edition of first generation Leaf, more than 90% of the parts imported from Japan, assembled in China. But not the Nissan brand, because Chinese brand electric car can get Chinese government subsidies. I bought it in December 2016, including taxes, insurance and so on..., the total price is 148,000 CNY.

Until Oct. 2019, driven distance than 74,000km (45981mi), SOH=87%, full charge display 19.3kWh.

Welcome to the forum. Is the Chinese version of the first generation Leaf a little smaller than the Japanese version, or is that a trick of the perspective in the photo?

Welcome! I guess you have a Venucia e30 (https://web.archive.org/web/20130515021358/http://www.dongfeng-nissan.com.cn/Venucia/car/e30). I started a thread at https://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?t=8636 long ago.

Interesting that more than 90% of the parts are imported from Japan. I had no idea whether it'd be more locally produced parts or not.

Looking at this photo it's clear that it's a Leaf with a slightly different nose. I wonder if that grille cover is available for worldwide Leaf drivers to buy!

Yes! Just this appearance of China Mainland Special Edition Leaf, only the front of the car is different, but all Chinese like original style, Some friends special import front accessories from Japan. Of course, the original Leaf can installation China style front , but inconvenient to import, and contains many accessories such as front bracket.

I think it's basically the same. If you scroll to the bottom of https://web.archive.org/web/20130515021358/http://www.dongfeng-nissan.com.cn/Venucia/car/e30, there's what look like dimensions in mm.

If you plug those numbers into Google (e.g. 4488 mm in inches), you get very close to the same dimensions as the bottom of the specs tab of https://usa.nissannews.com/en-US/releases/release-bc61419969d1446daf58c4f84915aad3-us-2016-nissan-leaf-press-kit.

Is the Venucia e30 Leaf-lookalike discontinued in China?

http://www.dongfeng-nissan.com.cn/Venucia/car/e30 is 404. When trying to go thru the products, the only thing that I see that looks like an EV is the https://www.dongfeng-nissan.com.cn/car/sylphy-zero-emission.

When I visit https://www.venucia.com/, it looks like these are the (only?) plug-ins: https://www.venucia.com/car/D60EV and a very different looking https://www.venucia.com/car/Newe30.

(I can't read Chinese worth beans.)

Thanks every friends, who can tell me, how much of a set new 24kWh Leaf battery pack in your country?

Terribly expensive, I'm afraid. About 9000 USD installed.

Oh my god! About 9000 USD (64000 CNY)?! My China Edition Leaf purchased in Dec. 2016, Now used Leaf selling price about only 30,000~40,000 CNY (5,000~5,600 USD), such as i want sell my car about 30,000 CNY (because driving mileage is too long). So in China, almost no one changes to new battery. Somebody can changes used battery.

It is indeed too high. People are working on installing used 30kwh and 40kwh battery packs in older used Leafs. That is in the early stages - but it is successful.
