Wow! IMHO, the above statement is ludicrous. I haven't seen the Tea Party advocate cutting off people's limbs, stoning people, preventing women from displaying their faces in public, driving cars, etc.

While tea party doesn't advocate cutting people's limbs, they have no problem showing up armed or using military/revolutionary rhetoric.
Their objective though, is simply to get people energized to vote for the R candidate, since the republican brand is now out of style -- basically it's a re-branding operation, and the simpletons that go to the rallies are unwilling accomplices.
