It's not that we require payment in order to post a 6kb picture, that was just one of the benefits we created to people who wanted to support the forum financially - back in 2011!rmay635703 wrote:Gotta wonder why out of hundreds of forums this is the only one that requires payment to post a 6kb picture

Are you sure? It looks like uploading/updating the avatar is enabled for current forum supporters. Go to the User Control Panel, Profile, and select Edit Avatar.
Seems un-wize to make such a simple function only available to "supporters" (easy to spot peoples avatar). I was once a forum supporter, but no longer...so I guess that's that with that.
