oakland has the highest density of unused leafs. there's a guy around the corner from me who bought two, and the second one *has not moved* in 14 months now. i'm sure the battery is completely ruined. the brake rotors are 100% rusted over.

can't fathom what this guy is thinking.
 
if he is driving the other one why cant he alternate? weird, but you never know what his personal situation could be. he might have gotten it for his wife/hubby and some tragic happened

no idea... his family is around, i've seen them.

the thing isn't even registered! or at least, no plates...

i suppose, but hey, the #1 thing that you'd want to replace is the battery. i'm just guessing but would it not be a Very Bad Thing to leave the battery completely discharged for 1+ year?

probably just a dude with too much $$ :)
