Hello again, I just finish modify driver door lock switch. It's difficult to locate when is dark to unlock the door.
Here is how I did it:
1. remove door control panel :Thanks to member kingtarmor : http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=14180" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

2.Pry the tabs and remove from trim window/door control (no need to open back cover) I originally opened and try to find if there is LED or power for original design. There is no LED only 2 holes in the board but no power when light are ON.

3.get 12V Wired 3/4.8/5/8/10mm LED (ebay LED with resistor )like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/12V-Wired-3-4-8-5-8-10mm-LED-Light-White-Warm-White-Red-Blue-Green-Amber-UV-Pink-/130708316747?pt=US_Lighting_Parts_and_Accessories&var=&hash=item1e6ed2a24b" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

4.the only good spot without messing with printed board is the left corner close to the top --VERY IPORTANT! this is the safe spot to drill and there is nothing behind inside.I used very slow rpm and 3mm drill first then the size of LED one.LED is just push in and hold tight ,no glue : http://imgur.com/mu2RtD2,mjvHSMo" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

5.I used power from mirror control unit-first to wires has 12V when light are ON:

Make sure when solder wires there is offset gap between them to prevent short.

6.Put back the panel and enjoy it . http://imgur.com/1h6CAqV" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Next project - illuminated HomeLink buttons.
