InsideEvs has done this. Maybe you will like this table better.

That is how I started - but has gotten out of order now. Will do next month.

Bumping an old thread... where's a good place to discuss EV/PHEV sales outside the US?

In China, the EV/PHEV sales mix is TOTALLY different than the US. I believe the Venucia Morning Wind and e30 (http://www.dongfeng-nissan.com.cn/Venucia/car/e30) are one and the same, which basically looks like a rebadged Leaf.

More on the the Venucia e30 err... Morning Wind (?):

Warren Buffett had (still has?) a substantial investment in BYD. Bill Gates has visited BYD with Buffett: http://www.mnn.com/green-tech/transportation/blogs/warren-buffett-and-bill-gates-want-you-to-buy-these-chinese-cars.

On the above note, here are some more Chinese sales figures. The lists include both BEVs and PHEVs.

http://cleantechnica.com/2016/08/11/china-electric-car-sales-188-still-dominated-byd/

The latter says "Finally, looking at the breakdown between BEVs and PHEVs, unlike other markets where plug-in hybrids are winning the upper hand, all-electric cars just continue improving their share, now at 68% (up 1% compared to last month). 1% is also how much they improved their relative ranking by the end of 2015. (Note that the BYD Tang, BYD Qin, and SAIC Roewe e550 are the only plug-in hybrids on the list.)"

BYD Sold Record 37,000 Electric Cars In December 2018
https://insideevs.com/byd-sold-record-electric-cars-december-2018/

The total, sales of BYD cars in China increased this year to 227,152 (up 109% year-over-year), and far exceeded the goal of 200,000.

It’s not enough to stay the best-selling plug-in car manufacturer in the world (Tesla delivered around 245,240 all-electric cars), even if we would assume a minor number of BYD sales outside China.

However, BYD said that the total plug-in electric vehicle sales amounted 247,811 (more than Tesa), when taking into consideration 20,659 commercial vehicle (buses, trucks). We are however sceptical of such a comparison.
