I wonder if unlike Tesla they will actually have some of these being delivered into customers hands in short order. I also wonder if the recipients won't wind up wishing they had passed and just waited for a model 3.

The first test-drives begin in October, so some level of production. As I watch videos from Nissan I ran into this one which casts doubt on anything Nissan says. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DShtvd5jJHQ 70% battery capacity after 10 years. Individual cells are replaceable. No problem with 110 deg temps- just don't park in the middle of Death Valley for a week.
