That's it! Once you are connected to the car, it should start sending my server points and you should see the # of Vehicles incremented in MyEVStats.com by one. If you don't see that data, post an update here or send me a message and I'll see what's going on.
Hi, Kirk. Just added my Leaf, and glad to do it. The "# Vehicles" incremented by 1, just as you say.

It looks like your "Avg aHr" is cumulative rather than average.

FWIW, as you add more vehicles to the DB, it might be useful to add a "STD DEV" to the averages.

Just a quick update to MyEVStats.com. I've added some additional logic to show Avg Battery Temp and Avg Amp Hr by month, as well as a showing by VIN of how much battery is lost (Amp Hour wise) by date. For instance, we can see that VIN #14302 has lost nearly 1% of battery life in the past 5 days that it's been tracking with the system! Meanwhile, my 2012 Leaf actually GAINED slightly over the time.

I still need your data! If you are too concerned to send it to me via the LeafSpy API, if you can send me ANY and ALL (even if from years ago) exports and I'll get it pumped in.

I think your baselines on the 2013+ years is off. Brand new I believe my car (#14302) would have about 62 Ah, definitely not 75 Ah. It's still just a 24kwh pack but the 75Ah is for the 30kwh packs (most 2016s and all 2017s).

I also might not be able to contribute much in the future. My bluetooth ODB2 dongle likes to randomly disconnect while driving and not reconnect and the past few days that's been happening after I've been driving for a few minutes. I'm not sure if it's just loose or if something is wrong with it but it's far from consistently connected.

Here's some past data if you want it. It's not the whole set of LeafSpy data but it's the main things that were important to me at the time.

Cool, thanks for that and the heads up. I'll adjust the code.

My 2013 is there now.

It's showing 7.32% loss in AHr, but I'd actually never considered that; I've been measuring loss of kWh when fully charged. It's now 19.5kWh (down from 22.0kWh), which is about 11%.

Thanks again! I've imported the data. Interesting to see how the battery has done this calendar year.

This is cool. I setup my leaf spy with 4 minute increments and will check daily to see if i make it in. I do not have wifi in my driveway when i am connected to the obd. Is that a problem ?

Do you don't HAVE to have wifi, but it definitely needs some form of internet to send to me. If you are like me and have a spare phone hooked up in your Leaf without internet, then, yeah, you'll have to see if you can have it hit a hotspot or wifi somewhere. My Wifi can reach the garage so that's not a concern for me, but it doesn't look like the app queues up data otherwise.

so even when i bring the phone inside with leaf spy still up and showing me the data, it is not going to send it to you. that was my spare phone. i can put leaf spy on my real phone and 4g it over.

right - six of one / half dozen.... looks like a lot of us are using spare phones ! thanks

Yeah, I got one of those phone holders that attached in one of the cup holders. It's not perfect, but works well. I have my main phone used for Google Maps and music :)

So I think I'm getting an error when I'm at full charge. I managed to get a screenshot of it this time. It looks like my GIDS value (267) is out of range? Are you only allowing up to 255? It works fine when the battery is discharged further.

Thank you so much for sending me that, it helps. That's fixed.

Sweet idea... Just added my 2014 S. You should be getting data soon

Excellent, I see your data there! Thanks so much. It'll help the more data we get.

Were you messing around with anything? I'm getting an error today: "Call to undefined function getYear()"

Yes, THANK YOU for catching that. Its fixed.

Thanks for setting it up... It would be cool to see a watts per mile Stat for each car, and maybe an overall average efficiency.
