1) Warming up the battery by QC. 8 temp-bar works better than 6 temp-bar in my experience.
2) Driving your Leaf with pressing and releasing the pedal repeatedly in B range. Hx will probably go up rapidly.
3) Once SOC hits 50% or below, increase of Hx will likely stop, but decrease will likely not happen.
Some Japanese Leaf folks are keeping up Hx high using this method. Some 24kWh owners retain Hx = 100%+ at 30k+ miles.
My point is that these numbers are far from perfect and things like this are proving that they can be gamed.
