From looking at the '13 service manual, it looks like the SEC section is the one that covers the "security system", alarm, etc. It's 122 pages long. It looks like you'd need to at minimum retrieve DTCs, if any and go through some of the troubleshooting sections.
Nissan Consult III Plus (

Your best bet is probably a dealer service dept that you trust if the SEC section of the service manual doesn't help you.
