I've just lost my 4th capacity bar on my 2011 LEAF. Has anyone had experience with Dallas dealerships for the warranty battery replacement? I would prefer to take it somewhere that has a clue about the process.
Don Davis in Arlington did mine but that was a while ago...

Don Davis was my first choice, I purchased there but when I called to discuss they had no understanding of the warranty or settlement and said they had never done a battery change on a LEAF.

Nice. Well, they've done at least one and I've got the paperwork (and the battery) to prove it. And at the time, they told me that had done one before me. But that was 2 years ago... Update us on who you end up using.

Can anyone recommend a repair shop in the DFW area for Nissan Leaf? I'm unable to find which collision center/service was mentioned in previous posts.

If you're talking about body repair, I used Caliber Collision in Plano: they will not put the whole car in the oven if possible (they painted my bumper off of the car). For mechanical issues, I go to Nissan of McKinney.

Here are my previous posts about my LEAF's body work experience, keeping in mind this was 4 years ago. And now that it HAS been 4 years since the repairs, they are still good as new and there are no signs whatsoever that I ever had any work done in the areas that were fixed:

THank you.

Hi - our leaf is not starting properly. Tried jumping it and it was working, but now even with jump it does not kick start the car. Think it may be 12V battery issue but not sure. Need help with leaf repair experts in Dallas, hate going to dealerships but if e have to we will. Also anyrecommendations on this issue, should I just replace the 12V and if so what battery is recommended?

Answered your PM, but wanted to let everyone know that I highly recommend McKinney Nissan (on 75). They have a Leaf tech that's been there since I bought my Leaf (almost 7 years).
