As I read more about battery longevity, I realize how important battery temperature is,but haven’t found where the readout is. There has to be a way to view it.

What model year do you have? It's different on '18 and '19 Leafs vs. ones that come before.

That said, none of them give you any exact numbers. The '11 to '17s have huge overlapping ranges for the temp bars.

To see actual battery temps from the sensors, you'll want something like Leaf Spy and a compatible OBD2 dongle for the phone OS you plan to run on. The dongle MUST be known compatible w/the app.

From your previous posts, I guess you have an '18.

The left side dash display is controlled by the shuttle control on the left side of the steering wheel. Moving left or right switches between groups of displays, and moving up or down switches between displays within a group. I'm not adept with this, but the battery temp display is in the same group as the compass /satellite radio preset / digital speed display option. When you see that one, move 'down' (I think) to get to the battery temp bar /capacity display. Someone correct me if I have this wrong, because I leave it on the battery temp in warm weather, and the aforementioned compass/speed/preset display in cool weather, rarely switching. It remembers the display choice when the car is off.

Again, on the '18, there will not be any numeric value of battery temperature.

Of coarse it would be in Leaf spy. I’ll check it tomorrow.
Thanks for your answers.
