Backup Site Forum for MNL Users?

Sorry just re-read your post, and at first I thought you meant we need to start another forum, but do you mean a place to discuss this forum being down at another forum?

..... Out of curiosity, was my email the one that you received? (same user name, Gmail domain.) I'm wondering if anyone else reports when this site is down.

I know I personally sent an email the address listed, 2 actually a day apart and never received anything back

I got one too, a day or two back. While the outage was frustrating, my $0.02 is that I'm not so internet-dependent that I think we need to have a back-up forum.

Threads are un-organized (like one big board subject), and posts tend to be ASCII and short.
The format may seem a bit odd to those of us who were "raised on phpBB"
(well, OK, I was raised on USENET over UUCP , which at least had separate reply branches).

Yeah, as a country, we seem to have lost the ability to get along with people we disagree with. e.g. "Obama is the devil" and "If you're a Trumpeters, you're an idiot". It's really getting scary that we treat our fellow countrymen as enemies.

"Trumpeter" is a term I coined to describe ardent Trump supporters who are not trolls - who just want to post what they feel about things like "fake news" and what they believe is unfair treatment of their guy. It is not derogatory.

its a lot of Europe mostly so not quite as applicable but they do sometimes provide interesting information.
