If you are a Costco member, I noticed the Juice Box Pro JBPRO40 EVSE only costs $550. It looks like it sells for over $800 on Amazon. I've not used this EVSE, so I can't vouch for it. It has 4+stars average of reviews, though. Has an app. Can be controlled with Alexa or Google Home.

Good manufacturer and reasonable value for the cost. Same price on the manufacturer website.

Worthwhile to mention that eMotorWorks publishes the Amp rating to the car so 40Amps really is 40 Amps (~ 10 kW max to cars that can take that rate like the Tesla Model 3 LR.) It does also mean that 50 Amp circuit and breaker are required.

Just ordered one of these off Amazon a few days ago for ca $500; just looked, and whaddya know, it's up to $549 again. Guess I got lucky. Taking a quick look on Keepa, looks like around $550 is typical price, with occasional spurts up to around $1000.

I've had very good success with mine. An added bonus for Leaf S models like my 2018 is that you can use their JuiceBox app on your iPhone to control the EVSE remotely and also set the amount of battery charge to a specific percentage.

I have found their technical support to be fantastic and extremely responsive.
